As part of the 10th International Forum on Public-Private Partnership (PPP), organized by the UNECE in Barcelona, a meeting took place between the Deputy Head of the National Investment Agency under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, J. Jeenaliev, and Mr. Olivier Ginepro, Project Manager for International Affairs at the FIN INFRA agency under the Ministry of Economy and Finance of France.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the prospects for bilateral cooperation in the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), promoting the principles of inclusivity and gender equality, as well as the introduction of elements of circular economy in infrastructure and investment projects.
Particular attention was paid to the issues of experience exchange in infrastructure financing and PPP mechanisms, as well as the participation of the Kyrgyz Republic in the International Forum on Infrastructure and Public-Private Partnership, which will take place in November 2026 in Paris under the auspices of the French government and FIN INFRA.
The parties expressed their readiness to strengthen the partnership aimed at developing a sustainable economy and attracting private investments in key sectors of the Kyrgyz Republic.
