Since the beginning of 2026, the Public-Private Partnership Center under the National Investment Agency of the Kyrgyz Republic has been conducting training events to enhance the knowledge of public and municipal employees, as well as business representatives, in the field of PPP and to develop skills for project implementation. Within these events, participants become familiar with laws, project preparation, and implementation mechanisms, and learn about attracting private investments.
In Talas city, more than 30 public and municipal employees successfully completed a basic training course organized in collaboration with the Regional Investment Council's secretariat and received certificates. Additionally, training sessions were organized in Bishkek city, Chui, and Naryn regions under the program "Structuring and Managing PPP Projects in the Kyrgyz Republic: Advanced Course," addressing modern methods of project preparation and issues of implementing infrastructure initiatives through attracting private investments.
The PPP Center also participates in the activities of regional investment councils. A seminar was held for representatives of the private sector at the meeting of the Regional Investment Council of Issyk-Kul region held in Karakol city, where relevant PPP projects were presented. Furthermore, at the instruction of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, Sadyr Japarov, the National Agency organized seminars titled "Investment Direction: Opportunities of Regions and Sustainable Development" and is monitoring ongoing PPP projects.
In Jalal-Abad region, within the framework of a mobile "Information-Consultation Caravan" organized by the Regional Investment Council's secretariat, information was provided to entrepreneurs regarding state support and mechanisms for attracting investments, and issues related to land plots, infrastructure, permitting documents, taxation, and project financing were discussed. Consulting support was also provided for the implementation of investment initiatives.
Training and consulting events will continue in October and until the end of the year. The PPP Center will assist in enhancing the qualifications of employees, expanding entrepreneurs' awareness of PPP mechanisms, and preparing investment initiatives.
