Today, March 25, the head of the National Investment Agency under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, Ravshanbek Sabirov, met with representatives of CECEP Solar Energy Co., Ltd.
The meeting discussed the future of cooperation in the renewable energy sector and attracting investments. The main focus was on implementing projects in the solar energy sector, constructing and commissioning renewable energy source facilities, introducing modern eco-friendly and energy-saving technologies, as well as expanding the company's investment portfolio in the Kyrgyz Republic. It was noted that CECEP Solar Energy Co., Ltd. is implementing the "Ak-Tatyr" solar power station construction and operation project in Batken region.
"The Kyrgyz Republic prioritizes the development of renewable energy sources and creating a favorable investment climate. Cooperation with CECEP Solar Energy Co., Ltd. is seen as an important step in implementing solar energy projects, introducing advanced technologies, and strengthening the country's energy sustainability," emphasized Ravshanbek Sabirov.
The parties reviewed possible formats for cooperation, including public-private partnership mechanisms, investment agreements, and other instruments. Representatives of the company confirmed their interest in implementing the current project and expanding investment activities in Kyrgyzstan.
As a result of the meeting, the parties agreed to develop long-term strategic cooperation and further jointly develop specific projects in the energy sector.
