Today, March 6, at the National Investment Agency under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, a Stabilization Regime was signed regarding the construction and further operation of a solar power plant.
The event was attended by Deputy Head of the National Investment Agency under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, Meirimbek Koichumanov. The Stabilization Regime was signed with "Solar Systems" LLC and "AST Imperial" LLC.
The project involves the construction of a solar power plant in the Ak-Kuduk village of the Kochkor district in the Naryn region of the Kyrgyz Republic. The capacity of the plant is 325 MW, with preliminary investment estimated at 200 million USD.
Signing the Stabilization Regime is an important step towards the successful implementation of the project and aims to create favorable conditions for investors, allowing for predictable circumstances, as well as ensuring the stability of the legal and economic regime throughout the entire duration of the investment project.
The implementation of this project will significantly contribute to increasing the share of renewable energy sources in the country's energy balance, strengthening the energy security of the Kyrgyz Republic, and developing sustainable, environmentally friendly energy.
Additionally, the construction of the solar power plant will positively impact the socio-economic development of the region, creating new jobs during the construction and operation phases, as well as facilitating additional investments in the Naryn region.
The National Investment Agency under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic continues systematic work on implementing large investment projects aimed at economic development and enhancing the country's investment attractiveness, as well as attracting strategic investors.
