Today, February 10, the National Investment Agency under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic visited the main directorate of the "Bishkek" free economic zone, as well as the production facilities of "Heli Sky" LLC located in the village of Ak-Chiy in the "Bishkek" SEZ, to familiarize itself with the progress of the investment project.
During the working visit, the production and technical capabilities of the established maintenance center for Mi-171 and Mi-8 helicopters were demonstrated. Agency representatives got acquainted with the infrastructure of the regional spare parts warehouse and received detailed information about the current status of the project.
"For us, it is important not just to express intentions, but to have real created opportunities and clear development plans. This project demonstrates that there are full opportunities in Kyrgyzstan to create modern aviation services and training centers. Such initiatives are aimed at attracting investments, creating jobs, training specialists, and strengthening the technological potential of the country," said Ravshanbek Sabirov.
Particular attention was paid to plans for expanding the functional capabilities of the center. Specifically, information was provided about the agreements reached regarding the placement of the Mi-171 aviation simulator and an interactive classroom in 2026. The implementation of these plans will allow for the organization of pilot training and retraining in the territory of the Kyrgyz Republic, increase the accessibility of specialized education, and reduce dependence on foreign infrastructure.
At the end of the working visit, the head of the National Investment Agency under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, Ravshanbek Sabirov, emphasized the practical significance of the project for the country's economy and aviation sector.
