A Memorandum of Cooperation Signed for the PPP Project of the Western Bypass Road of Bishkek

Today, January 23, a Memorandum of Cooperation and Interaction regarding the Public-Private Partnership project "Construction and Operation of the Western Bypass Road of Bishkek" was signed at the National Investment Agency under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic. The document was signed by representatives of the Ministry of Transport and Communications, the National Investment Agency, the Bishkek City Hall, "Elk Bank" JSC, "Bat Jet" LLC, and China's China National Heavy Machinery Corporation (CHMC). The purpose of the memorandum is to coordinate the actions of the parties and develop cooperation for the implementation of an infrastructure project aimed at improving the transport logistics of the capital and reducing the cargo flow on the street-road network of Bishkek. The parties confirmed their interest in developing partnerships based on the principles of equality, mutual benefit, and transparency. The implementation of the Western Bypass Road project is seen as an important step in developing Bishkek's transport infrastructure and attracting investments to the economy of the Kyrgyz Republic.
