A public-private partnership project for the modernization of wastewater treatment facilities is being implemented in Bishkek.

Ravshanbek Sabirov, head of the National Investment Agency under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, monitored the progress of the public-private partnership project at the wastewater treatment plant located on the outskirts of Bishkek. An inspection of the current state of the facility was conducted, and key stages of project implementation were discussed. Sabirov emphasized that this project is of priority importance for Bishkek, aimed at improving the quality of social and utility services, ensuring environmental safety, and promoting sustainable urban infrastructure development. He also highlighted the importance of further developing and scaling the project, considering the socio-economic and ecological needs of other cities.
