Opening of Modern Carpet Production by Orion Grant

Ravshanbek Sabirov, Director of the National Investment Agency under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, participated in the opening of the production site of LLC 'Orion Grant'. The company is implementing a project to produce modern carpet products in the 'Bishkek' Free Economic Zone. The construction of the production building, covering 3,962 square meters, has been completed, and special equipment imported from Turkey has been installed. The total investment amounts to approximately 300 million soms, with 1 million USD financed by the Kyrgyz-Azerbaijani Development Fund. Ravshanbek Sabirov highlighted the high level of technological equipment and effective organization of processes: 'Modern equipment, a well-developed technological cycle, and a professional team — such projects contribute to the development of the industrial sector and enhance the competitiveness of the Kyrgyz Republic in the region.' The project's capacity exceeds 100,000 square meters of finished products per month. In the first phase, four types of carpets targeting the Central Asian and EAEU markets were launched. The company has created 30 jobs.
