Today, the Director of the National Investment Agency under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, Ravshanbek Sabirov, met with a delegation led by the world sports legend, yokozuna, 69th sumo champion Hakuho Sho from Japan and Mongolia.

The delegation included representatives from leading Toyota and Lexus corporations, as well as financial institutions and investment companies. During the talks, the future of bilateral cooperation and the participation of Japanese and Mongolian businesses in major investment projects in Kyrgyzstan were discussed. Director Ravshanbek Sabirov proposed strategic initiatives, including: "Asman City" — a smart city of the future created according to modern urban planning standards; the special zone Tamchy, developed for innovative and tourism development in the region; the international project China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan, opening new transport and logistics opportunities; the ski base "Üch choku," which will become a center for global winter tourism and sports events. Special attention was given to creating favorable conditions for foreign investors, developing green energy, industrial parks, digital transformation, and tourism. The Japanese delegation expressed deep interest in developing partnership relations and reviewing specific projects, emphasizing the strategic importance of Kyrgyzstan as an investment and logistics hub in Central Asia. The National Agency notes that this meeting is an important step in strengthening investment dialogue and opens new horizons for long-term partnership with Japan and Mongolia.
