Meeting with representatives of the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry of Japan: Discussing cooperation under the "Global South Futuristic Joint Projects" program

On September 22, 2025, a meeting was held at the National Agency with the Director of the National Investment Agency under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic and a delegation from the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry of Japan (MEI). During the meeting, the Japanese delegation presented the "Global South Futuristic Joint Projects" (FS Global South) program aimed at strengthening sustainable development and promoting joint initiatives with Global South countries. The program involves the implementation of projects based on innovation and mutually beneficial cooperation. The purpose of the Japanese delegation's visit is to explore the local needs and opportunities of the Kyrgyz Republic that can be integrated into the FS Global South program. Special attention was given to information exchange, coordination with relevant government agencies, and discussing the prospects for developing a main plan for future cooperation.
