General information

Kyrgyzstan's construction sector is experiencing rapid growth: the industry is growing at over 22% annually. Bishkek and major cities are undergoing large-scale modernisation of housing, commercial and transport infrastructure.

Annual construction volume exceeds $1.5 billion. Key areas: residential construction, shopping and business centres, road infrastructure and energy facilities. A significant share of projects is implemented through PPP mechanisms.

The government is implementing the Affordable Housing programme and modernising the road network with support from international financial institutions (ADB, EBRD, World Bank).
