Logistics Center for Organic Dried Apricots Production
Construction of a logistics center in the village of Kara-Bak, Batken District, Batken Region for the production and export of processed and organic fresh apricots and dried apricots according to HACCP standards. The center includes the production of dried fruits, packaging, and preparation for export to the EU, EAEU, and Japan. Capacity — 5000 kg of dried apricots per day.
Project description
Construction of a logistics center in the village of Kara-Bak, Batken District, Batken Region for the production and export of processed and organic fresh apricots and dried apricots according to HACCP standards. The center includes the production of dried fruits, packaging, and preparation for export to the EU, EAEU, and Japan. Capacity — 5000 kg of dried apricots per day.
The project involves the construction of a logistics center in the village of Kara-Bak, Batken District, Batken Region for the production and export of processed and organic fresh apricots and dried apricots according to HACCP standards. The logistics center is expected to produce dried fruits, package, and prepare products for subsequent export to the EU, EAEU, and Japan. The main export products are expected to be: • Organic dried apricots • Processed dried apricots. The proposed production capacity is 5000 kg of dried apricots per day. At this stage, the construction of the logistics center is 30% complete. Production and storage facilities have been built, and refrigeration chambers and production lines have been purchased. The project is financed from the cooperative's own funds and with the support of donor organizations such as USAID, ARIS, GIZ, Helvetas. Currently, production is located at home due to the lack of production facilities. Village of Kara-Bak.
