Today, September 29, 2022, in Bishkek, a meeting of the Kyrgyz-Austrian Commission on Economic Relations took place.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the current state of bilateral cooperation and noted the need to activate the interaction between the two countries, particularly in the fields of hydropower, renewable energy sources, considering Austria's extensive experience in implementing projects in the green economy, agriculture, tourism, and the IT sector.
The head of the investment attraction department of the National Investment Agency under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, Tolkunai Talaibekova, presented a presentation to the guests about the investment climate in Kyrgyzstan, urging representatives of Austrian business to invest and engage in mutually beneficial cooperation.
As a result of the meeting, a Protocol of the meeting was signed, outlining the further directions of cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Austria.
