During the meeting, Minister of Investments A.N. Shykmatov noted that the Republic of Korea is one of the priority countries in attracting investments, which is also one of the important directions of the foreign policy of the Kyrgyz Republic. The Minister also informed about the arrival of a large Korean delegation to the Kyrgyz Republic, which includes companies such as 'Korea Telecom', 'BS Group', and 'GS Retail'. On July 14 of this year, within the framework of this delegation's visit, a Kyrgyz-Korean round table on investments will be held, aimed at familiarizing with the investment potential of the Kyrgyz Republic and developing promising cooperation in the fields of digitalization, healthcare, energy, agriculture, and telecommunications. For his part, the Ambassador informed the Minister about the signing of a Memorandum of Cooperation between the Ministry of Energy and Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic, 'Korea Telecom Corporation', and 'Omnisystem' in the field of automation and digitalization.
