Today, November 3, the head of the National Investment Agency under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, Ravshanbek Sabirov, met with representatives of CECEP Environmental Protection Co., Ltd. (CECEP), which specializes in the development and production of high-tech equipment for solid waste recycling, energy conservation, and environmental protection.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the directions for implementing an investment project for the construction and operation of a complex for recycling solid municipal waste and generating electricity and thermal energy in Kyrgyzstan. Potential locations for the complex are being considered in the city of Manas and the Suzak district of the Jalal-Abad region.

According to preliminary calculations, the first phase of the complex is designed to process 800 tons of solid municipal waste per day. This amounts to 292 thousand tons of waste per year under continuous operation. In the future, the capacity of the complex is planned to be increased step by step to 2,000 tons per day. The final parameters of the project will be determined based on the results of the technical and economic justification, environmental studies, and the development of technical solutions. The estimated volume of investment required for the project is approximately 95 million US dollars.

As a result of the meeting, the parties expressed their interest in further developing cooperation and agreed to continue working together on the initiative, including conducting necessary studies, evaluating technical and environmental parameters, and determining the optimal format for project implementation.
