Today, August 25, Ravshanbek Sabirov, the head of the National Investment Agency under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, signed an Additional Agreement to amend the Investment Agreement established between the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic and the 'Central Asia Energy Company' LLC.
The document allows for the commencement of the next phase of the modernization project for the 'Junda' oil refinery.
The modernization of the enterprise will create conditions for increasing the volume of oil product production and improving their quality.
The updated plant is planned to produce fuel that meets modern requirements, including compliance with Euro-5 standards.
This will improve the supply of fuel and lubricants to the domestic market and enhance the sustainability of the country's fuel and energy sector.
The project will also stimulate the development of the domestic oil refining sector, production cooperation, and related industries, creating new jobs and expanding additional opportunities for the economy.
