Today, on August 4, a high-level forum titled 'Construction and Development of the Asman New City – 2026' took place in Bishkek, focusing on the implementation of the environmentally friendly 'Asman' new city project.
During the forum, issues related to urban planning, the development of engineering and transport infrastructure, the formation of the new city's functional structure, attracting investments, and expanding international cooperation were discussed.
Damirbek Bikulov, Deputy Head of the National Investment Agency under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, emphasized the strategic importance of the 'Asman' project for the country's socio-economic development, stating that its implementation would create extensive opportunities for attracting investments, introducing modern technologies, and developing sustainable urban infrastructure.
Within the framework of the forum, practical implementation of the project, development of sectoral infrastructure, and mechanisms for further cooperation were considered. Several documents aimed at promoting the project were also signed.
The forum served as an important platform for discussing the future of the 'Asman' new city development, exchanging experiences in modern urban construction, and strengthening investment cooperation.
