Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan strengthen cooperation in free economic and industrial zones.
Ravshanbek Sabirov, head of the National Investment Agency under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, and Ikromjon Usmanov, director of the Management Directorate of Industrial Zones of Tashkent, signed a memorandum on cooperation.
The document aims to develop partnerships in the establishment and management of free economic and industrial zones, exchange experiences and best practices, as well as conduct joint activities to attract investments.
The parties agreed to implement joint investment projects, develop industrial cooperation, exchange information on investment opportunities and government support measures, as well as organize and hold business forums, business missions, and other joint events.
Special attention will be given to developing direct connections between the free economic zones, industrial enterprises, and investors of Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan within the framework of cooperation.
