The Deputy Head of the National Investment Agency under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, Meirimbek Koichumanov, met with the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia, Muhammad Anis Matta.
During the meeting, the Kyrgyz side introduced the investment potential of the Kyrgyz Republic and shared information about the ongoing reforms in the country, mechanisms of state support for investors, and priority areas for implementing joint projects.
The parties paid special attention to issues of attracting foreign direct investment, Islamic financing, the halal industry, digital economy, and cooperation in the field of information technology.
They also discussed expanding trade and economic relations, strengthening cooperation between the business communities of the two countries, and exchanging experiences on implementing investment policies.
As a result of the meeting, the parties confirmed their mutual interest in further developing investment cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Indonesia and expressed their readiness to implement joint initiatives aimed at strengthening economic partnership.
