Today, on June 24, the SCO Investment Business Forum is taking place in Bishkek, organized by the National Investment Agency of the Kyrgyz Republic under the presidency of the Kyrgyz Republic in the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO).
The First Deputy Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic, Daniyar Amangeldiev, is participating in the forum.
The forum, being the first major investment platform under the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, unites representatives of SCO member states, government agencies, the business community, development institutions, investment funds, technology companies, and startup projects.
More than 600 representatives from international and regional organizations, financial institutions, as well as international and regional businesses are participating in the event. Participants are discussing promising areas of investment and trade-economic cooperation, exchanging experiences, and exploring opportunities for implementing joint projects.
Ravshanbek Sabirov, head of the National Investment Agency of the Kyrgyz Republic, noted that holding the forum in Bishkek will create new conditions for developing sustainable investment relations among SCO member states.
Located along the Great Silk Road, Kyrgyzstan occupies an important position in strengthening connectivity in Eurasia by combining its rich historical heritage with the development of the digital economy, modern transport-logistical infrastructure, and innovative technologies.
This forum, held in the year marking the 25th anniversary of the SCO, will strengthen mutual trust, good neighborly relations, and partnerships among states, as well as open new opportunities for developing investment and business relations.
Today, new opportunities are being created for developing investment cooperation and implementing joint initiatives among the member states of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization. Our main task is to create an effective platform for direct dialogue between the state and business, ensure favorable conditions for investors, and further develop investment partnerships in the region. The Kyrgyz Republic is open to partnership and ready to implement joint projects.

Within the framework of the business program of the forum, reports from the heads of investment agencies of SCO member states, panel discussions on the development of the digital economy, green transformation, healthcare, and other promising areas will be held.
Participants will also engage in bilateral B2B meetings aimed at establishing new business connections and discussing potential investment projects.
One of the important events of the forum is the signing of a joint resolution with the participation of official representatives of SCO member states. Holding the SCO Investment Business Forum is an initiative within the framework of the Kyrgyz Republic's presidency in the organization and aims to create a sustainable platform for developing investment cooperation among participating countries.
The resolution aims to further develop the experience of holding joint investment forums and business events within the SCO, as well as strengthen interaction between states, the business community, and development institutions.
