Conducting the Round Table
A round table titled "Creating a Regional Platform for Joint Investment Promotion" was held within the framework of the V Tashkent International Investment Forum, featuring leaders of investment promotion agencies from Central Asian countries.
During the event, Ravshanbek Sabirov emphasized that international investors are increasingly viewing Central Asia as a unified economic space. He stated that the region has a large market, significant resource potential, and extensive opportunities for implementing joint investment projects.
He highlighted the importance of developing regional cooperation in investment promotion, the need to establish the Central Asia Investment Promotion Agencies Network (CA-IPAN), create a Unified Investment Portal for the region, and promote Central Asia under the unified brand "Invest Central Asia."
Additionally, information was provided on the Kyrgyz Republic's experience in implementing investment projects based on the "one-stop-shop" principle and the development of digital services for investors.
At the end of the event, Ravshanbek Sabirov invited participants to attend the Investment Forum to be held under the chairmanship of the Kyrgyz Republic in the Shanghai Cooperation Organization. The forum will take place in Bishkek on June 24-25, 2026.
Participants of the round table discussed further steps to strengthen cooperation among investment promotion agencies of Central Asian countries, jointly recognize the region's investment opportunities, and attract new investors.
