Meirimbek Koichumanov, Deputy Head of the National Investment Agency under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, participated in the events of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum - 2026 (SPIEF-2026), which is one of the leading international platforms aimed at discussing economic development, investments, and international cooperation issues.
The main outcome of the business trip was the signing of an agreement on cooperation and information interaction between the State Development Corporation "VEB.RF" and the National Investment Agency under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Within the forum, Meirimbek Koichumanov held a meeting with the business delegation from the Udmurt Republic of the Russian Federation. During the meeting, the parties discussed the prospects for expanding trade and economic ties, the possibilities for implementing joint investment projects, as well as issues of developing cooperation between the business communities of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Udmurt Republic.
As a result of the negotiations, the parties confirmed their mutual interest in strengthening business ties and further developing bilateral cooperation.
The participation of the National Agency in SPIEF-2026 was an important step in promoting the investment potential of the Kyrgyz Republic, expanding international partnerships, and strengthening business ties with foreign partners.
