The Deputy Head of the National Agency for Investments under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, Jalyn Zheenaliev, met with the head of the International Finance Corporation (IFC) representative office in the Kyrgyz Republic, Dmitry Pyatachenko, and representatives of the World Bank Group.

During the meeting, issues related to promoting the draft law on venture financing and developing alternative sources of investment were discussed.

Jalyn Zheenaliev expressed gratitude to the partners for their support and assistance, emphasizing the strategic importance of establishing a modern and sustainable legal framework for venture investments as one of the key factors in developing an innovative economy and attracting private capital to high-tech sectors.

IFC representatives presented international practices for developing venture ecosystems, including the practices of Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan, as well as modern methods for regulating alternative financing sources aimed at expanding business access to investment resources and strengthening financial infrastructure.

As a result of the meeting, the parties expressed their readiness to further deepen cooperation, including expert-analytical and technical support, and agreed to coordinate joint efforts to promote relevant legislative initiatives.

The implementation of these measures will contribute to improving the investment climate, forming a sustainable financial market, and supporting startups and the venture ecosystem in the Kyrgyz Republic.
