The head of the National Investment Agency under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, Ravshanbek Sabirov, met with a delegation from China Energy Engineering Investment Company.
The meeting was attended by Xue Danfeng, the deputy chairman of the management board of China Energy International, as well as the director of the state institution "Green Energy Fund" under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The parties discussed cooperation in the field of renewable energy sources and the implementation of investment projects in Kyrgyzstan.
Information was also provided about the country's investment climate and current state support measures.
"The Kyrgyz Republic considers the development of renewable energy as one of its priority directions. We are open to cooperation with international partners and are ready to provide support at all stages of the implementation of investment projects," noted Ravshanbek Sabirov.

The Chinese side expressed interest in investing up to 1 billion USD in the construction of solar and wind power plants with a total capacity of up to 700 MW (500 MW - solar, 200 MW - wind).
As a result of the meeting, the parties expressed their readiness to continue the dialogue, jointly develop specific areas of cooperation, and consider investment initiatives at a practical level.
