Today, February 9, the head of the National Investment Agency under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, Ravshanbek Sabirov, met with the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Mongolia to the Kyrgyz Republic, Sodnom Gankhuyag. They discussed the implementation of the memorandum of understanding between the National Investment Agency and Mongolia's National Agency for Investment and Trade, signed on October 24, 2024. The parties confirmed their interest in expanding trade-economic and investment cooperation in the fields of industry, agriculture, tourism, 'green' economy, and digital development. Ravshanbek Sabirov noted that Kyrgyzstan views Mongolia as an important partner and is ready to support joint projects. Measures to improve the investment climate were discussed, including the adoption of laws on 'investments in the Kyrgyz Republic' and 'public-private partnership'. Prospects for creating joint productions in the light textile and processing industries were also considered within the framework of agreements reached during the state visit of the President of Mongolia to the Kyrgyz Republic in July 2025.
