Results of the Hungary-Kyrgyz Business Forum in Budapest

The National Investment Agency under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic held a Hungary-Kyrgyz business forum in Budapest. The forum aims to strengthen economic ties and expand business cooperation between the two countries. About 40 companies from Kyrgyzstan and Hungary are participating, indicating foreign business interest in the country's investment opportunities. The main goal of the forum is to enhance economic cooperation, promote Kyrgyzstan's export potential, and attract foreign investments in priority sectors such as energy, industry, agriculture, and IT. As a result of the forum, a cooperation memorandum was signed for the construction of solar power plants with a capacity of up to 300 MW, totaling over 300 million USD. The program includes B2B and B2G meetings, facilitating dialogue between business and government agencies. Holding the forum in Budapest is an important step towards improving Kyrgyzstan's international economic relations.
