The National Investment Agency under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic reports a positive trend in the inflow of foreign direct investments from the Islamic Republic of Pakistan over the past five years.
According to official data, the volume of investments by year was as follows:
2020 — 2.0 million USD
2021 — 1.2 million USD
2022 — 4.4 million USD
2023 — 6.9 million USD
2024 — 4.6 million USD
The highest volume of investments was recorded in 2023, when the figure reached 6.9 million USD, indicating a growing interest of Pakistani businesses in the Kyrgyz market.
"Kyrgyzstan and Pakistan demonstrate a stable positive trend in cooperation. The range of joint projects is expanding annually in areas such as agriculture, energy, trade, and digital economy. We see high potential for further deepening of the partnership," noted the director of the National Investment Agency.
