A new magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) center equipped with modern equipment has started operating at the Osh Interregional United Clinical Hospital. The project has been implemented within the framework of public-private partnership (PPP), marking a significant step in improving the accessibility and quality of medical services in the southern region of Kyrgyzstan.
Investments over $1 million
As part of the project, a complete reconstruction of the premises was carried out, and high-tech MRI equipment of Chinese production — uMR 580 with a power of 1.5 Tesla, compliant with international diagnostic standards, was installed.
Before the project was implemented, the hospital did not have its own MRI equipment, and patients had to go to private clinics or travel to other cities. With the opening of the new center, residents of the region will be able to receive quality diagnostics on-site, without additional time and financial costs.
The project implementation period is 15 years. Upon completion of the contract, the center and the installed equipment
