Today, March 7, 2025, as part of the official visit of the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic A.A. Kasymaliev to the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, a business dialogue took place in Hanoi.
The main goal of the event is to strengthen economic ties between the two countries, develop mutual investments, and launch joint projects.
As noted by the Director of the National Investment Agency under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic (NAI) Talantbek Imanov, the republic has a rich potential for the development of various industries, offering a wide range of opportunities for investors.
"The Kyrgyz Republic has significant energy potential. The country ranks third in the CIS in terms of water resources, which provides opportunities for the production of up to 142.5 billion kWh of electricity," said NAI Director Talantbek Imanov.
Particular attention was paid to the development of public-private partnerships as one of the key tools for attracting investments and implementing large projects.
"The PPP Center in Kyrgyzstan oversees 80 projects with a total value of 2 billion US dollars. Of these, 50 contracts worth 800 million US dollars have already been signed. The main areas where we see significant potential for cooperation are energy, transport, healthcare, education, manufacturing, and culture," said Talantbek Imanov.
