In Ankara, on February 9, 2024, within the framework of the 11th meeting of the Kyrgyz-Turkish Intergovernmental Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation, the Kyrgyz-Turkish Business Forum took place with the participation of the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic — Head of the Administration of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic A.U. Japarov and the Vice President of the Republic of Turkey Cevdet Yılmaz.
The event was attended by over 500 business representatives from sectors such as energy, renewable energy sources, light industry, machine engineering, construction, banking, e-commerce, and other industries.
This business forum is aimed at further implementation of joint investment projects, establishing business connections between entrepreneurs of the two countries with a focus on creating joint ventures, as well as facilitating the export of products from the countries.
As a result of the event, bilateral agreements on investment and trade-economic cooperation were signed.
