On January 29-30, 2024, the First Investor Forum on Sustainable Transport Links between Central Asia and Europe was successfully held in Brussels, with active participation from the delegation of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The delegation was headed by the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic — Minister of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry B.E. Torobaev.
The main focus of the forum was on sustainable transport links between Central Asia and Europe, as well as the prospects for the development of the Trans-Caspian transport corridor. The Deputy Director of the National Investment Agency under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic (NAI) Zhibek Abdullaeva participated in a panel meeting dedicated to supporting sustainable transport communication in Central Asia.
As part of the forum, a meeting was also held between the Kyrgyz delegation and representatives of Belgian business at the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in Brussels.
