Today, January 26, 2024, the official signing of the agreement for the first pilot PPP project in the road sector took place. The PPP project "Construction and maintenance of a bypass road around the city of Uzgen" is a pilot project under the Decree of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic "On the implementation of the public-private partnership project for the construction and maintenance of a bypass road around the city of Uzgen in the Osh region of the Kyrgyz Republic" with a length of 14.1 km.
After negotiations between the National Investment Agency under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, the State Administration of the Uzgen District, and the consortium of LLC "Tez Zhol" and LLC "Zhagalmai", an agreement was reached on the implementation of this project. The project involves an investment of approximately 29 million USD by the private partner. Additionally, it is important to note that no funds will be allocated from the state budget for the implementation of this PPP project.
