The NLC Representative Office in Bishkek Will Help Develop Cargo Transportation Between Pakistan and Kyrgyzstan

The national agency held a meeting with a delegation from the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. The delegation was headed by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Kyrgyz Republic Mr. Hasan Ali Zaigham and the General Director of the National Logistics Company of Pakistan (NLC) Mr. Farukh Shahzad Rao. During the negotiations, the foreign guests were informed about the existing investment opportunities in the Kyrgyz Republic and projects in the field of public-private partnership. Special attention was paid to the cities of Naryn and Kyzyl-Kiya, due to their key location and great potential in logistics, connecting the external borders of the EAEU with major neighbors such as China and Uzbekistan. Answers were also provided to the delegation's questions regarding entry into the Kyrgyz market. For his part, NLC General Director Farukh Shahzad Rao noted that a representative office of the company will be opened in Bishkek in the near future. This will facilitate the development of mutual cargo transportation from Pakistan to Kyrgyzstan and create transport and logistics networks.
