The National Investment Agency under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic participated in the 25th session of the General Assembly of the United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO), which is taking place in Samarkand (Uzbekistan). Representatives from over 140 countries participated in the meeting. During the opening ceremony of the session, the President of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, emphasized the importance of UNWTO's efforts aimed at developing tourism worldwide. As part of the General Assembly, a Global Investment Forum was also held, featuring leading companies and organizations from the tourism sector. The forum included five panel sessions and 22 presentations with the participation of ministers and heads of international financial institutions. The National Agency presented the tourism and investment potential of the Kyrgyz Republic. Participants were offered the implementation of projects for the construction of glamping parks and ski resorts, as well as the development of eco-tourism. In addition, the National Investment Agency, together with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, held a series of negotiations.
