First Interregional Forum between the Kyrgyz Republic and the Republic of Kazakhstan: Expanding the Boundaries of Cooperation

On September 22, 2023, the First Interregional Forum between the Kyrgyz Republic and the Republic of Kazakhstan was held in Taraz (Republic of Kazakhstan) on the theme "Expanding the Boundaries of Cooperation." The event featured speeches by deputy heads of ministries from the Kyrgyz Republic and the Republic of Kazakhstan, representatives of the Plenipotentiary Representatives of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic in the regions, as well as leaders of major Kyrgyz and Kazakh companies. During the Kyrgyz-Kazakh business dialogue held within the framework of the forum, priority areas for bilateral cooperation, measures to stimulate business for expanding cooperation between the two countries, and the increase in investment inflow and development of trade relations were discussed. More than 70 companies from both countries in the fields of agriculture, industry, and light industry participated in the event. As a result of the Kyrgyz-Kazakh business dialogue, 12 contracts and memorandums were signed between Kyrgyz and Kazakh companies.
