Today, August 28, 2023, the Kyrgyz-Finnish Business Forum 2023 took place in Bishkek, organized by the National Investment Agency under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, with the support of the UNDP project "Trade Facilitation," funded by the Government of Finland.
The event aimed to establish contacts between Kyrgyz and Finnish businesses and promote cooperation in sectors such as energy, agriculture, construction, IT technologies, and the green economy.
Welcoming remarks were made by: Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic Edil Baisalov, Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Finland to the Kyrgyz Republic Soili Mäkeläinen-Buhanist, Ambassador of the EU Delegation to the Kyrgyz Republic Marilyn Josephson, and Deputy Permanent Representative of UNDP Monika Rizal.
In his speech, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic Edil Baisalov emphasized the importance of the forum, which symbolizes the establishment of new partnerships and exchange.
