A meeting took place in Ashgabat between representatives of the business communities of Kyrgyzstan and Turkmenistan, organized by the National Investment Agency under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in Turkmenistan, and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan.
The meeting featured 17 Kyrgyz companies operating in various sectors of the economy, such as the textile industry, construction materials production, food industry, IT technologies, and petrochemicals. From the Turkmen side, representatives from 40 companies engaged in construction materials production, transportation and logistics, food and textile industries, as well as IT technologies participated.
The main topics of the meeting were the development of bilateral trade and economic relations, as well as opportunities to increase the export potential of the states. Participants discussed the prospects for expanding the range of goods and formats of bilateral interaction.
The growth of trade turnover between the two countries was noted.
