On January 27, 2023, a meeting took place in Cologne between the Director of the National Investment Agency under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, U. Temiraliev, and the General Director of GLOBAL GAP, Mr. Christian Müller.
The main topic of discussion was establishing direct communication with GLOBAL G.A.P. to ensure the certification of domestic products and their unhindered access to international markets.
During the meeting, U. Temiraliev presented information on the current status of the work being carried out by the public and private sectors in promoting the export of domestic organic products and the enormous potential for its growth.
In turn, Mr. Müller noted that the GLOBAL G.A.P. certification system is a standard for safe and environmentally friendly food production. It simplifies cooperation within the framework of international partnerships in the food industry. Furthermore, GLOBAL G.A.P. standards are aimed at more efficient production.
