On January 27, 2023, a meeting took place at the headquarters of the German Investment Corporation (DEG) in Cologne between the Director of the National Investment Agency under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, U. Temiraliyev, and the General Director of DEG, Mr. Roland Ziller.
Also present at the meeting were the Senior Director for Infrastructure and Energy at DEG, Mr. Turan Chaglayan, the Director for Financial Institutions at DEG, Ms. Susan Decker, and the Director for Sustainable Industry and Services at DEG, Ms. Franziska Holmann.
The purpose of the meeting was to establish cooperation with a major European financial institution to ensure an active presence in the financial market of the Kyrgyz Republic through the financing of long-term projects.
During the meeting, U. Temiraliyev informed about the ongoing reforms in investment policy and priority projects in the fields of energy, agro-industrial complex, and infrastructure, under which the state provides the necessary range of conditions.
