The final part of the contest of innovative projects “Eurasian digital platforms” and the award ceremony will be held on October 22, 2018 in the capital of Armenia, Yerevan. The final will be held in the framework of the international forum “Eurasian week”.

The competition is held by the Eurasian economic Commission (EEC) for the first time, but will become an annual event in the future. The need to identify the most promising and effective teams and projects through which it is possible to optimize the development of the integrated information system of the Eurasian economic Union (EAEU) was the argument for its establishment.

Despite the high status of the competition, not only experienced developers of technological products, but also young entrepreneurs could take part in it. About 200 innovative projects were eventually presented to the jury which included more than 250 representatives of the five EAEU States. More than 170 IT-projects were presented by participants from Russia.

The winners will be determined in four categories: "Digital future of the EAEU" (for startups), "The best technological solutions for the implementation of the digital agenda of the EAEU" (for software developers, vendors and integrators), "The best digital projects of the EAEU" (for organizations that have undergone the process of digital transformation) and "The Best game for children and adolescents on the digital agenda of the EAEU" (for developers of computer games).

The competition was held in several stages. The primary selection was held in a virtual format. 60 innovative projects from five countries were admitted to the semifinals.
